This seems to be the best replacement for woven floss I can currently find.

First of all I have to say that I am very disappointed that the woven dental floss (eg Listerine Gentle Gum Care) which I found cleaned between teeth very well is no longer available . However, I feel like waxed threads and super gliding threads like Glide are almost a waste of time. So, with this overwhelming endorsement, I have to say that this expanding yarn from GUM appears to be the "best of the rest", so I especially recommend if you've been a woven yarn user to give it a try.

I tend to snap my thread and I hate it

I tend to snap my thread and I hate it. I should have thought better about the growing quality of this thread. I'm more likely to break this thread than any other thread I've ever used. In the beginning this thread was fine. I tried to give him a fair chance. Then this morning I ripped the floss so badly it got stuck in and around my tooth and stayed there in a clump. Grinding your teeth with floss is uncomfortable, but you choose to do it and get on with your life. The way the thing crumbled…

GREAT CONDITIONER FOR DAILY SEPARATED TEETH

If you are looking for a good cleaning experience between your teeth AND WON'T DESTROY THE CONDITIONER, this is a great floss. There is another Revain floss that is better but twice the price. This is a great everyday theme unless you're a shredder. I've found another "valuable" (so far) that I highly recommend as well. My teeth are NOT fixed and shatterproof tapes (and putties) don't remove dirt. THIS YES > So if you can't afford $7 a box, this (or my other highly recommended) thread is…

Waste of money

1. It only "lints" when wet with saliva. If you don't floss in the same area over and over again, there's no benefit. Keeping the thread under tension will leave it very thin, which defeats the purpose. I completely lost respect for the GUM brand with the purchase. It used to be Butler GUM but now it's Sunstar GUM and I suspect they were bought by a company that is cynically trying to cash in on the reputation that company used to have when it made serious oral health products. save your money…

Moisten before flossing

Like many reviewers, I find this new product doesn't stretch when flossing. However, I have found that if I drop my floss in a cup of warm water and leave it there while I brush my teeth, it stretches out nicely and the wax seems to disappear. Then I just pat it dry with a towel and it fully expands and is ready to use. It's pretty damn close to the old Reach yarn if you do it that way. Note: I tried soaking the entire spool of filament to pre-stretch it, but that didn't work. It is wound too…
