Review on 🦷 GUM - 2030C Dental Floss, Expanding with 43.3 Yards Length by Kevin Cota

Like many reviewers, I find this new product doesn't stretch when flossing. However, I have found that if I drop my floss in a cup of warm water and leave it there while I brush my teeth, it stretches out nicely and the wax seems to disappear. Then I just pat it dry with a towel and it fully expands and is ready to use. It's pretty damn close to the old Reach yarn if you do it that way. Note: I tried soaking the entire spool of filament to pre-stretch it, but that didn't work. It is wound too tightly on the spool and the wax is preventing penetration. I think the wax was probably added to make the wrapping process easier for the manufacturer.
