GUM Unwaxed Dental Floss Unflavored Review

This dental floss is hard to find. I have very narrow spaces between my teeth. This is better than glide/slide floss as you have a better grip on it and scrub teeth better. I love it and have been using it for years.

I was so disappointed with this dental floss. This order was for six packs of floss and I returned the packs unopened. I've tried to use it three times, but it hasn't slipped between my teeth. I bought it because it's listed as 'thin' and 'waxed' yarn and for me it wasn't the same at all. It didn't slip at all like other waxed floss products I've used. It was quite a difficult attempt to swallow through my teeth and I don't go through it every day.

The product is fine but I must have ordered something different the first time because I expected it to have a thread guide to make it easier to slip under the bar that holds my prosthesis. The first one I ordered had these instructions. This product requires some maneuvering on my part to get under the bar as it has no guide. Hope this makes sense to you!

I buy this floss because my teeth are very close together and it's the only floss I can easily work between them with. Unfortunately this is the second batch I've bought with at least one pack (so far) being much thicker than what this thread is normally supposed to be and almost unusable. More of a "normal" thread than a "good". There must be poor quality control at the factory.

I don't like waxed floss. I just don't feel like it cleans the interdental spaces very well. For me this floss works great and is thin enough to fit between my teeth without breaking.

I have been using this type of thread holder with wind-up dispenser for a few years now and I like it better than the previous one. The tape that sticks and breaks on my crown slides easily, rarely breaks and very easily measures the right amount. Highly recommended

I have been desperate for Dental Floss for very tight teeth. This floss is definitely thinner. but! It lacks a nice waxy finish and it also tears easily. It got stuck between my teeth and tore. To be honest I would rather use regular filament. Although it is difficult to get it between them, ordinary thread will be much more convenient to use. I found that rude. The only thing I liked was the amount of thread as well as the container you can rewind it in. This is a great feature.

I don't often write reviews but I read a few reviews on this product before purchasing and didn't find some of the issues that one of the 1 star people wrote. I'm a bit notorious for my flossing technique. I'm very specific. I can't find unwaxed floss in stores anymore, probably because everyone needs waxed floss for ease of use.
