Terrible Single Board Computer Interface

This interface was a huge disappointment. It was difficult to install and provided inconsistent results. The only positive aspect is that it is affordable. Unfortunately, the inexpensive price doesn't make up for the wasted time and frustration it caused us. We would not recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their computer components.

Pros
  • Efficient and fast bidirectional data transfer between microcontrollers and various input/output devices.
Cons
  • May require advanced technical knowledge and experience for successful implementation and use.

Non MCP23S17 - Computers and Accessories

I should have read the review before ordering. The board has an MCP23017 chip, not an MCP23S17 as advertised. Too bad I discovered this after soldering the pins. That's ridiculous.

Pros
  • High Speed SPI (MCP23S17): 10MHz (maximum)
Cons
  • Available in black only
