Gutermann Natural Cotton Thread 273 Yards-Black: Durable and Versatile Sewing Thread for All Projects Review

Used for my daughter's Christmas blanket and it fits my sewing machine perfectly. I also had plenty of time to finish the quilt - this doesn't always happen with the smaller Gutermann bobbins.

This thread was very disappointing. I used Guterman quilting thread and was expecting a strong cotton thread. This thread was no stronger than a purl cotton thread. Completely useless for my purposes.

I mainly use Gutermann yarn for a number of reasons: - Gives much less lint than many other brands (Coats & Clark in particular) - This cotton yarn is smooth and doesn't frizz does not stretch when hand sewn like I have experienced with others. - If for some reason your tension isn't too tight, this thread doesn't have much breakage like I've experienced with other brands. - The thread glides through the fabric more smoothly than other brands I've come across - The threads are supplied on a…
