Type of review

I recently purchased the Gyokucho Razorsaw Crosscut 240mm No. S-400 Replacement Blade to replace my old worn-out saw blade and I must say I am impressed with its overall performance. The sharpness of the teeth is exceptional, allowing me to make precise cuts with ease. Pros
  • Constructed from high-quality materials, this replacement blade is durable and long-lasting, ensuring that it will provide reliable performance for years to come. Its compact size and lightweight design make it easy to handle, making it an essential tool for anyone looking to complete their projects quickly and efficiently
Cons
  • Fragile: The delicate teeth of the Gyokucho Razorsaw Crosscut blade can be easily damaged or broken, making it a less durable option compared to other, sturdier saw blades on the market. This may be a concern for those who regularly use their saw for heavy-duty cutting tasks

proton power saw: my feedback

In the catalog, this one is called the "proton power saw". It cuts very nicely, has a relatively coarse 13.4 TPI. The #650 ryoba cuts nearly as fast, and you can rip also, so it remains my all around favorite. The #615 ryoba is even coarser at 10 TPI. I find it a bit too coarse.

Pros
  • Does what it says, it cuts wood very well.
Cons
  • Expensive
