Get ready to fight them. I finally won their installation thanks to someone's suggestion that I bend the metal tabs to a more open angle before installing. However, use a wide-bladed screwdriver and gloves, as it takes a lot of force to secure the tab. Pushing a screwdriver without gloves can be ugly.

I installed them in my bathroom and am very impressed. I followed the provided instructions and used the template that was also provided. It took about an hour to install and connect two lamps. I'm not an electrician, but I know the theory behind the electrical equipment of air conditioners. Plug connections are great. The only problem is getting the clips in place.

We have many of these lamps at home and about 75% success rate is getting the clips to work. Every time I get broken clips I swear I will never buy them again but they are so cheap and when they get there everything is fine so I keep buying them for touch up projects. I love that they come pre-wired with Quick Connect style nuts.

I have purchased recessed halo cases for remodeling and used before and after overcoming the clamp setup. You are a great product. However, in this case the product was advertised as new but what was sent to me was clearly used. The Revain box was in good condition but the halo had been opened up and re-glued and the recessed cases were dented, scratched and warped as if they had been previously installed and removed.
