These shoes have really changed my life. I've struggled with moderate to severe plantar fasciitis and metatarsal pain for years, but my doctor recommended that I just wear them at home, and she was right. I bought a pair of these after developing plantar fasciatis this summer. I have several pairs of Halflinger boiled wool clogs but this is my first pair of closed heel clogs from them. The only question is: why don't they all wear them? You are so comfortable! With or without socks, a treat for my feet at any time of the year. I love them so much, I ordered a pair for my mom and she loves them too! I plan to order a pair of fleece lined clogs when winter comes. Five stars!

It is important to note that they are probably cheap because they have a factory defect. I bought the same clogs in a different color from the store and when I finally received them I found that they had small imperfections on both shoes. The shape of the midsole on the left shoe leaves an uncomfortable bulge under one of my toes, and the shape of the wool felt on the toe is different from the right. Both the midsole and rubber outsole of the right shoe have a different shape than the left one.
