Hagen 6 Pack AquaClear Aquarium Filter Review

Good product at a good price. I will buy it again from amazon.com. My fish are very dirty. Just like a baby. I changed it every month. I washed every week.

Hagen is a well known brand and all my filters for different tanks use the same manufacturer. This is part of a trio. For some time you can rinse and reuse this part of the filter. I tried it once and it fogged up my tank. I changed all filters. Use Seachem Stability every time you change the filter, add fish or change the water. Prevents fish loss.

I use them for two purposes: to calm the overflow in my 300 gallon tank (which also offers a biological filter area as an added bonus) and to create a barrier in the sump between the first two filter chambers and a reversible pump chamber (large surface). They are cool! Provides more surface area and largely prevents snails and other "debris" from entering the return chamber, effectively protecting an expensive pump.
