I recently gave a negative review for this product, so it would be right if I update the comment I left. I contacted several people who also bought this product and they informed me that I did not connect the three parts properly. After reviewing their suggestions, I found that the information they had given me was correct. So my apologies and I will definitely buy this item again in the future if I need it! Sincerely, Alexis

So it came piece by piece in a plastic bag with no instructions. The fact that they assume people know how to assemble this thing is beyond me. You need a plain piece of paper with at least one picture guide. I'm actually pretty sure I'm missing something

I have tried many substitutes for this very useful item when styling human hair doll wigs. I bought some styrofoam balls to have a small base for wigs that fit small dolls. Haven't used it yet but plan on using long pins to attach the bead to the top of the canvas wig head that works with this head holder.

You will need a large clear edge to use this product. I was planning to use it in my bathroom where I cut and style my wigs. It doesn't stay on the edge of the countertop. My husband attached it to the seat of a low profile bar stool and added rubber tabs where the smooth plastic meets the seat. This gave him the support he needed to stay in place. Smart man. Cheap solution. He does his job and the price was perfect. I would buy this again.

Item received earlier than expected. However, I am very disappointed that the ball that was supposed to be attached to the mannequin's head did not fit into the clip. I had to do some magic and it worked. The manufacturer only had to check that it fit before packing it. I need it to decorate my wig for tomorrow's party so I decided to just keep it because of the price and free shipping.

Repurchased in 2013. Very simple and easy to use. Simply twist and adjust the clip, then clip it anywhere you like. Put the wig head on the long cylindrical part and you're ready to style your wig! I bought it to use when I cut my wigs. Works like clockwork. It snaps firmly into place and is adjustable so I can position the wig where I need it. It helps me extend the life of my synthetic wigs by removing kinks (even with the most meticulous care). If I cut my long wigs, I can wear them for two more months.

For many years I styled my wig on my head with a tight (very uncomfortable) chin strap. I was so happy to see a product that can make blow drying and styling easier without the use of a chin strap. I was able to hook it up to the breakfast bar in the kitchen (using a towel to avoid scratching the granite) and it was amazing. It wasn't cheap but it worked for my purposes. It attached to the head, it attached to the stand, I could style my wigs. What more could you want for this price?
