Amazing Soldering Tool!

This Industrial and Scientific soldering tool is the perfect addition to any workbench. Based on our own experience, we found it to be easy to use and extremely precise. The temperature control is spot on and the quick heat up time makes it a time saver. The ergonomic design ensures a comfortable grip for long hours of use. One minor downside is the price, but the quality justifies the cost. Overall, a great investment for any DIY enthusiast or professional.

Pros
  • Precise temperature control, ergonomic grip, quick heat up time.
Cons
  • Price could be seen as a minor downside.

Perfect for drag soldering

I collect a lot of circuit boards and this tip is magic for drag soldering. I highly recommend buying branded items - some imitations work but aren't as good with branded materials. I think it has to do with the metal plating on the ends. I would recommend some tin for the tip - this stuff seems to help keep the tip free of oxide so the solder gets well wetted.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Crumpled

Ideal for large solder joints, fast heat transfer.

, I love all Hakko tips, I only use Hakko tips and have never had a problem with any of these. Other cheap ones literally have holes or big dimples. I've never had a Hakko tip fail like this. The 4mm 45° tip is ideal for large solder joints that require high heat transfer. I usually get by with a t18 c3 with say 12 gauge wire with a large ground pad at 400-425c. When using this tip at 400°C, the soldering time is halved simply because of the larger surface. I like this tip, it has its place…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Dear
