Ideal for cooler rides

This part is great for cooler rides. Or keep the wind in your ears. The sweat trough on the front is my favorite feature, I used to have problems with burning eyes from sweat dripping into it.

Pros
  • Grip technology keeps skullcap in place
Cons
  • The list goes on.

Toast is warm when the temperature freezes!

I referee junior high and high school soccer games in Montana. I needed something to keep my ears warm, but I also needed a hat. This skullcap did exactly what I needed! Ears get very warm when the temperature freezes!

Large helmet hat for hiking and cycling

This is a great helmet hat I've used for my hikes, it works great, not only does it keep you warm but it keeps sweat from getting on your skin. Eyes I love this cap and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a skull cap. Haven't used it with my bike helmets yet, I'm pretty sure it will work well on this one too.

Pros
  • LIGHTWEIGHT - Thinner than fleece with lightweight Dryline fabric that wicks, absorbs and evaporates moisture quickly; doesn't itch like fleece
Cons
  • Good but not great

Fits the way you want it too.

Great product. Really covers the ears. You can turn your ear. Works well under a helmet. Like it better than the Izumi Wind Chime I bought. He didn't really cover his earlobes. I love the stitching and the way it's made. Excellent work. I have a 7 3/8 head. Great fit. My opinion is that this will work from 7 1/8 to 7 1/2. There may be problems at the top or bottom.

Pros
  • HEAD AND EAR WARMER - protects ears and head from wind and cold; stays in place during workout
Cons
  • Doubtful

Ideal for cold weather rides

I bought this to bike to work when the temperature started to drop. I used to wear a wool hat under my helmet but the helmet didn't fit well and I was always sweating. It's the perfect combination of breathability and warmth (20-30F range for me). After an hour's drive to work, I wasn't sweaty, hot or cold, just comfortable. If I find it won't withstand further temperature drops I'll update this review, but for now I suspect it will be fine down to 10F.

Pros
  • Snap closure
Cons
  • Mostly fine but...

Works perfectly. in Outdoor Recreation

Despite being so thin, this hat is surprisingly warm. This, combined with the warmth you naturally generate when cycling, makes this cap suitable for fairly cold temperatures. This winter I rode it in 20 degrees and felt great. Wear it when it's 40 degrees outside and you start to sweat. Good equipment. Other reviewers note that it's too tight. FWIW I have a medium sized head and it fits great. Maybe a little tight, but I think that's how it should be. No complaints.

Pros
  • Dryline
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
