🐱 Halo Dry Cat Food: Premium High Protein Chicken & Chicken Liver Formula Review

Besides changing the packaging it looks like they changed the recipe too - I've been buying this crap for years and what came in the last order doesn't look equal (and the bag itself and the product inside). The sudden change in ingredients caused severe diarrhea in my cat. I don't understand why they just changed the product like that when the old one was so great.

No hesitation. I took him to the vet because he was fed up with the old food and was losing weight and tons of hair! We checked everything, everything is fine with him. She thought he might be allergic to food! So I started reading about good cat foods and looked for foods that didn't contain corn or chicken meal. It contains the same ingredients found in freeze-dried and raw foods. Halo is cooked but other meals are $40 a week! So I'll see if Halo works for my cat Mushi!

My cat has been eating this food for a long time and I started buying it from Revine because it was cheaper. I'm giving 2 stars because I don't know if it's due to freshness or an issue with the seller or something else, but my cat has developed what looks like scabs on the upper back/under the coat. I have three ex-feralcats with sensitive stomachs (bought prescription food before discovering Spot's Stew). This product is packed with great ingredients. I have been using Nutro on my cat for a little over a year. She ate it well and we had no problems. We wanted something even more natural, free from corn and fillers, so we went with it based on the ingredients. When I opened the box I could smell the freshness and the amazing ingredients. A few years ago I traded cat food for two of my "girls". Halo does not contain all of the fillers and minor components found in other foods.
