Favorite pajama piece

When I first unpacked this piece I thought this piece would sit for years until my child is big enough to fit in, but once I've closed it it's crazy how much space they take up. We use it every day to sleep and nights in place of blankets which I don't like using in the crib. My 6 month old weighs over 20lbs and fits perfectly into the average size - he fits above and has plenty of legroom below. Can be easily opened at the bottom for a quick change of shoes. Couldn't live without her.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Unreliable

Metal zippers can be a choking hazard

These are great sleeping bags, but after a lot of use zippers get tired and can break. I freaked out when I spotted a metal zipper in a crib. We examined the others and found that the metal was tired from the tension and was also on the verge of breaking. They really should change the design to have a fabric pull instead of a metal zipper as it can pose a serious choking hazard. It's not hard to fix yours. Otherwise the Halo is a great sleeping bag.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Soft and roomy with cute patterns

Works great! We keep our house pretty cold at 66-68F. My little guy is 4 months old but is in the 95th percentile and I needed a new sleeping option for him, much bigger. He loves to sleep stretched out like a starfish so I needed a bag with more legroom but not too bulky. He wears a long-sleeved cotton t-shirt and a halo fleece sleeping bag over it. Keeps him warm, the reverse zip is good and the fleece is very soft even after a dozen washes. He's 27 inches long and 18 pounds and the big one…

  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Nothing beats Halo

My daughter is 18 months old, about 32 inches tall and weighs about 27 pounds (give or take). What I love about Halo sleeping bags isn't just all of their SIDS reduction benefits. Rather than using blankets or blankets that are inevitably thrown off her in the middle of the night, this keeps her warm and cozy. in the sleeping bag. My daughter associates a sleeping bag with bedtime. I don't use it to sleep, only at bedtime. She sleeps an hour, an hour, two hours, and ALWAYS (knock on wood)…

Nothing compares to Halo

Rather than using blankets or blankets that are inevitably thrown off her in the middle of the night, this keeps her warm and cozy. Sleeping bag. My daughter associates a sleeping bag with bedtime. Make sure you have the right size

You are amazing. Safe sleep is extremely important. LO has no complaints about that. They're thin to move but thick enough to keep you warm. As you can see in the photo they are very crumpled. LO and I have no complaints about it, but thought I'd encourage it. The only problem was that I was originally given the medium and when I put it on LO it seemed to fit, but I was able to put it on and it covered LO's face. While unlikely at night, it's not worth the risk. Be careful not to pull on her…

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

I wish it had sleeves

I bought these for my 4 month old twins once we started putting them to sleep. They fell asleep briefly, but then woke up because they were cold and threw off their blankets. Once the blankets were aligned, they went on to sleep. But I know you can't use blankets in cribs, so it was necessary. They are very soft, light and mostly keep my little ones warm. I bought the small size as my girls are quite small and they are really huge but somehow it's still difficult to get through with both hands.

Pros
  • That's great
Cons
  • Some bugs

Very sweet and soft, but there are some downsides.

My 6 month old has been rolling around while awake for about 4 weeks but has only recently started rolling over in his sleep so it's time to move from swaddling in a blanket to something safer switch. This sleeping bag is pretty good and has worked best for him so far because unlike many others we've tried it leaves his hands completely free (which he prefers from around 1 week old). There are two main reasons I decided to rate this 3 stars despite being so soft and cozy for him. You are tall…

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • Something different
