Sometimes it explodes. melts sometimes.

Good. These lamps are not the best. But look at this price? Really really good. Never touch the bulb with your hands. The oil on your hands will ruin those lightbulbs. They are VERY sensitive. If you want them to last a lot longer, they will. Just don't touch the lightbulbs. I think the 1 star ratings are probably about replacing the bulb.

Pros
  • Lumens - 5950
Cons
  • Expensive

Excellent value for money and quality! Best in Light Bulb Category

I have a signal light that uses these bulbs because it is controlled by a motion sensor and keeps turning on and off. is detrimental to lamp life, it burns out about once a year. If I buy a replacement at my local hardware store, I pay $6 to $9 apiece. So you see what I'm getting at. So far they work just as well and brightly as the more expensive ones available locally.

Pros
  • Bulb Length (mol) - 4.71 in (118mm)
Cons
  • No Automatic

Cheap. Burns out quickly. But they smell cheap!

In a nutshell. These bulbs burn out quickly. I installed one in my son's bedroom and it blew out after about 3 months. I'm on the second now. And I have 8 left. In this scenario, I have enough for the next 2 years at a total cost of $12 (the price I paid on June 13). I won't complain about it. And now these things are under $8.50 for a 10-pack. Bottom line: you'll be quick to replace those bulbs, but at such a low price point, you won't mind at all. 4/5 stars just for the price.

Pros
  • Color - 2900K
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
