I doubt any of the cats would scratch this couch with a scratching post - and considering the cost - it seemed like an expensive proposition to spend money on. Luckily, they both seem to be having fun. I've covered their usual scratching points (chair/sofa) with plastic and they seem to understand that I want them to use that now. We've had it for a few days now - let's see if they use it long term.

Gary our cat loves his couch! It won't be him and I'll go to our bedroom and there he'll be sleeping on his sofa in the dark. He looks small with him, but he's huge at 8 months. He too was stretched out on it. The catnip on him is really great, he rubs himself like crazy! It's very durable, it scratches a lot and I can't even tell it scratches by looking at it. Gary's favorite place!

Very nice scratcher bed It's durable and attractive I posted it (no bribe for catnip) and my cat found it and settled in happily This is a good size but really for a cat under 13 pounds, otherwise it MIGHT be too small (but you know how cats love to stuff themselves in little boxes or perch on a small object like a stand so you never know.) It's a bit pricey I have Bought our first one cheaper BUT, prices only go up.

You like these thoughts. I bought a bunch. When I throw them away (when the cardboard starts to splinter; between a month and 6 weeks they look at me with a mixture of horror and longing so I've learned to have the next batch ready. They don't really lie to them but prefer the stretchability .Others don't care about the sizes and shapes of the tricky furballs, so here they are.They hold up pretty well considering they often enter claw contests.Better that than furniture.
