Haloview Camera Mount

I have a 2018 Montana that is pre-connected to a Furrion camera system. This mount fitted perfectly and the cable was the perfect adapter for the (non Furrion) camera I was using.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Will work. for tripod and monopod accessories

Fits Furrion mount. You'll need to use silicone or something similar as the Furrion plate you're replacing has a tab in the top right corner that doesn't cover it. Not metal but for plastic it seems durable.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • So far so good

Perfect adjustment.

I didn't actually have to buy this because the camera and monitor I bought came included (oops) but these items make it incredibly easy to add a Haloview camera to an existing Furrion install camera.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • there are downsides

Minor work and my camera attached to it

It took some drilling (and some hardware) to attach my camera to the plate itself. Otherwise it was mounted to my pre-installed Furrion mount. Worked for what I needed it for! The adapter worked with my camera on the Furrion fork.

Pros
  • Useful for more than its intended purpose
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Best price or value for money

I love this adapter mount for my existing Furrion case. I had to take the position of the bracket from the ad because there were no instructions. The "Haloview" label should be facing backwards or toward the camera, with the camera's pairing button facing down.

Pros
  • fingers crossed
Cons
  • unreliable

VERY brittle solder ends.

I had to remove the cover and solder the ground wire back into the connector. This was my first time using this cable and I was disappointed that what should have taken 5 minutes turned into an ugly job of tape and 45 minutes of cutting and soldering. Unfortunately I was on site when this was discovered and had no choice but to fix what I had to work with.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Adjustable mounting bracket

I bought this bracket hoping to attach it to a skin mount on my van. The mount fitted the mech attachment perfectly, and the adapter's little pigtail helped a lot. For my camera I had to lengthen the holes a bit to accommodate the camera I mounted on it. I'm not sure what material it's made of, but it seemed strong enough to hold my camera. The material resembles thin copper plated onto fiberboard. In any case, the deed was done.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Works great: Tripod and monopod accessories

I bought a different brand camera (not Furion) but I bought a camper with a Furion pre-wiring kit. I bought this adapter to be able to install it on a motorhome. To make it work, my husband had to enlarge the slots in the center so he could attach the mount to the camera. It was an easy fix and once done everything clicked into place with no issues. I needed a wired adapter and it just plugged in and I didn't have to make any wiring changes. It was a great product and worked great with a small…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Almost everything included

Improves the look of an installed camera, but not really necessary

I just installed a Haloview wireless camera using this adapter. I would give it a 5, but the mounting screws are too short or absent, leaving a hole on the Furrion mount where the Furrion's camera antenna comes out of the Furrion mount. The bottom line is that you don't need this adapter as the Haloview comes with everything you need to mount the camera on the outside of the trailer and you can drill a hole in the Furrion mount to access the obtain cables. This thing just makes it more…

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
