No guide - couldn't get started

Maybe ok but absolutely no guide. There is no indication of which wire is + or -. Tried both ways, both tested as good connections but not enabled. Returned.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

The perfect complement when towing.

I mounted this camera on the front of my truck for use when towing. I now have a front and back view when traveling. If anything happens, I have a videotape.

Pros
  • It's fun
Cons
  • It's not for everyone

Backup camera. the best in automotive electronics

The camera was easy to install. Connected to the high beam works great as a rear view. Also install the camera and repeater on the RV, then the whole system will be evaluated. This camera works great. Night vision is not as clear as I expected but ok.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Frequency

Vehicles appear further than they really are.

This was the second camera installed on the rear ladder of my caravan. Added monitoring of active traffic after a trailer and recording of incidents. The main camera is configured as a backup.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not the best

Good camera for my purposes

I bought this camera to complement our existing Haloview High camera and monitor and for general use. I made a bike rack mount on the back of our van, another for the back of a pickup truck for use when hooking up to bumper trailers and also to mount a saddle truck. I have a power cord for each location and this bottom mounted camera provided exactly what I needed to make connecting, securing and other functions much easier.

Pros
  • Smaller than CA108
Cons
  • boring packaging

More help than some people

First, this company is very responsive. Helps always. How do I know? Because I'm slowly picking up some technical stuff. We also received the RD7 mini and it was very easy. This one, no. If you follow Wolfwhoop's (the seller) pairing tips in the questions, you won't have any trouble. In addition, your kit includes a test/pairing cable (Y-shaped). helps. So there are two ways to pair. We love this camera and now that we know what to do we'll be getting it back in New York in a minute. The…

Pros
  • Camera angle adjustable to 70 degrees, 6x IR LED night vision

Additional camera for my Haloview monitor

This camera arrived quickly and in excellent condition. I added it to my monitor and Haloview camera so I have one camera on my license plate and one on the back of my trailer. Being wireless, they only require 12 volt power from the vehicle. This was done with the license plate bracket installed, as well as an additional bracket for the outer flat vertical surface. I installed it (two screws) on the back of my caravan. I used 12V from the headlights so the camera only gets power when the…

Pros
  • Suitable for vehicles under 30ft long when mounted on rear license plate
Cons
  • Long delivery time
