This was the first time I tried real pumice stone [I used to have Mr. Pumice stone]. I prefer staves to stone. While this makes your feet look nice and soft [it also comes with a small hook on the suction cup, which is a big plus], do I feel like it might be too aggressive? I prefer something with a finer grit to really smooth out my feet/heels.

This stone is a good size and shape for my feet. I really like the roughness of this stone. It's rough enough to remove dead skin instead of just rubbing your feet. It's not too rough either, like a lava rock ripping your skin off. I've been on my whole shift, so it definitely smooths out rough spots and effectively removes dead skin. Washes off easily. I had a problem with dry, white, dead skin on my elbows. I've tried various things over the years but nothing has been really effective. Until I pulled myself together and started washing myself with a stone. This thing solved the dead skin problem on my elbows in about five days. Bought, monopolized by his wife. Bought this for me. They are very good, excellent even. A size that is easy to hold. A texture that removes calluses and dead skin. In fact, you have to be a bit careful when using it, overly aggressive use will be uncomfortable.

I am a nail technician and using this stone for my clients is amazing. Synthetic stones don't get enough dead skin and the "razor blade/grater" can cut the customer. I don't like using a grater at all, it's inconvenient for me and the customer. Using this stone instead of a grater is the best solution I've come across.
