🐴 Premium Hamilton 1-Inch Nylon Horse Halter: Adjustable with Leather Head Poll and Throat Snap Review

High mileage and the upper leather is not durable. Bad buy as the leather on the top is not very good. This is a huge horse in full growth. Not suitable for my Friesian or Andalusian heads. They usually wear a full-length halter with large head sizes.

I was a bit worried about the size but a friend ordered the same halter for her horse and it turned out to be quite large. Mine looked tiny in the packaging but it fit perfectly! My horse is wearing a lump sized halter or bridle (and he's appy, how about that?!)

Attractive, well constructed halter with quality leather headband. The only thing I didn't like was the adjustable nose strap. After using the last hole the halter was still too big around the nose. Due to this problem, the halter moved too much and rubbed in places.

Very misleading as it says "leather questionnaire" and no leather questionnaire is included! I had to decide whether to buy a leather headrest or just return it and buy a halter with a leather headrest. I decided to return it as I was able to buy a leather halter and headpiece for less money.

Nice tear-away halter. It's a bit too big for my 1 year old Arabian when a standard 1 year old halter fits him well. Too many loose parts to snag on things in the pasture (you'll need a breakaway halter for that, after all). However, it is beautiful and very well made. It could have fit my 1 year old if I had cut out extra holes for the buckles.

I've only had this halter for 5 months. I had just hitched my horse with this halter and when I opened the doors the halter was torn into pieces and my horse was free. The leather strap came off completely, allowing my horse to move freely in the trailer. I'm just grateful that my horse isn't injured or worse and that I know better than to ever order from this company again.

I'm giving this halter a 4 just because it's quite large. I have a huge 4 o'clock gelding with a nice head around his neck and we had to fit him into the smallest holes there. Also, I love this halter! Durable nylon with leather strap behind the ears. It's very comfortable in it and really high quality as far as I can tell.

This is a very good quality halter and although I measured exactly what I needed my baby donkey needs to grow a little before she can wear it. The workmanship is very good and I know that if it fits, it will be comfortable. All joints are well stitched, smooth, this is a durable and well-made halter. In addition, it is very beautiful! Thank you for such good things. We look forward to using this on our female donkey.
