I bought this as a present for my parents. They love it and use it every day. Before making my choice, I looked at several reviews. The door is great and avoids burns like other models.

Great toaster, we use it every day to toast bagels, muffins and reheat leftovers without using our full sized oven. The audible ticking of the timer is a little annoying, but this toaster sucks for the job done.

This little oven is very easy to use and clean! I like the hinged door which makes it safe and easy to take out hot items without burning yourself. No frills, no convection option. It frys, warms, bakes and frys easily. Perfect for those cooking for one or two!

Simply the best possible model. I've previously had a convection toaster with a traditional pull-down door that worked fine except a couple of times I banged my hand on the door when removing groceries. The tambour door on this oven is fantastic, I just got it and have roasted, baked, roasted in it to perfection I might add. This countertop version is as good or better than my regular stove top oven.

A little less than a year and this morning the timer stopped working without warning. So far it still boils and frys, but you have to manually turn the knob to the off position. I started unplugging between uses as I don't trust the "Off/Timer" button. This oven is not used once a day. It replaced another Hamilton Beach model that was still working when I replaced it 8 years later. So I had high hopes that this device would last a few more years before malfunctioning.

I love this toaster. It took me a long time to get used to the fact that in front of it there is plenty of space for plates, jam jars and everything you need for toasting, which was my main reason for buying it. Very good. It also tans very well. The tailgate takes some getting used to and I had minor burns from inattentiveness, but other than that I'm very happy. This oven had great reviews and we bought it to replace an old Black and Decker toaster. The top opening seemed like a cool feature, but the fact that the oven doesn't turn off when you open the door makes it just as likely to burn someone. In addition, we mainly use it to reheat toast, frozen waffles, etc. You have to turn the oven on to a high setting and then turn it on to a low toasting setting.
