Hamilton Beach Electric Opener 76777 Review

Bought this for my mother whose arthritis was causing problems using a hand knife. She was very excited that she would also be sharpening her knives. Not only did the manual not even mention the knife sharpener, it didn't work at all. She loves the electric can opener and no longer hurts herself trying to open her cans :)

This product stinks! Don't buy it! This is COMPLETE WASTE! It will bring you heartache every time you "try" to open a jar with it. First, you "fight" and "fight" trying to "flatten" the edge of the knife so you can start slicing through the top of the can. and then, even if you start cutting, you'll struggle and strain to keep it in place for the entire cycle of cutting the lid of the jar! A woman or elderly person will NOT tolerate the horrible method/operation that would be required to try…

When I bought it it was the only one that had all the sharpeners for can openers and cans, glass bottles, very hard plastic bags as well as cans. to.
