Deep box. So flying debris is held back and of course the bonnet too. The hood doesn't close, so the cat threw it back once. The door leaf stuck in places so I had to cut it off. All that said for its price, it's fine.

I noticed that the lid doesn't click into place. Which makes no sense with such a large device. Also again noted the flimsy plastic pins as hinge guides which I am currently having trouble with, charge me another 5.00 add 2 simple tabs that snap in and a METAL BAR for the hinge and I will buy 2

I ended up throwing it away because the door kept falling out and it is difficult for the cat to get back in when the door on one side comes loose and open one side falling Angle where cat gets stuck trying to come back. They are generally good except what I received was a little too thin.

Nice big litter box, great for big cats. It is a pity that the lid does not close, which makes it difficult to carry. I tried returning it to find another one with a lockable lid but they wanted me to pay for the return postage so I decided to keep it anyway.

The peculiarity of the lock is that the plastic on the plastic bends it? My only complaint is that the door is plastic and I had to take it off when my cat got stuck in it. I could just file the plastic so it doesn't touch the lid. But now it doesn't matter, the cat is afraid of the door.

I only use the bottom half. I was looking for a high walled litter box that my kitties can still climb in and because it has a low front but a high back it works great; now they throw their rubbish on the ground a lot less. It also has a very rounded shape, meaning it's a lot easier to scoop clumps of dirt out of the corners as there are almost no corners. I don't use the top; It seems to work well, although it doesn't snap at the bottom - it just bounces up when you lift it.
