The knife looks great and I'm sure it will work great. The only issue I have is that when I ask for a copy of the lifetime warranty, I've been told to go to the website to get it. It's worn! The warranty should come with the knife in the box.

This is an amazing knife! We had to replace our similar knife from a knife block with inferior knives. This knife is the best! It cuts so smooth and is a good weight. The grip is very good. We've only been using it for a few weeks but so far so good! Highly recommended.

The workmanship and the metal of this knife are absolutely first class. Sharpened grooves make it easy to cut foods like cheese without sticking to the blade. Unfortunately the handle is too small and too short for this fantastic knife. My wife also found the pen with two small ones, so I'm giving it three stars.

The weight and blade of this knife are ok and the price is very competitive. However, the production is very raw. Of the 8 rivets that attach the blade to the handle, 7 are not flush with the wooden handle but protrude beyond it and are very sharp. The sharp edges of the metal on the handle become very uncomfortable with prolonged use. I am disappointed in the quality and am sending it back.

This knife is amazing. I cook and create every day, but before this purchase I didn't have a quality knife. And now I do! It's well built, has ample mass, and an excellent blade. My experience in the kitchen has already improved. Knife cuts are as they should be and the preparation time has been reduced due to the reduced resistance and ease of the cuts. I cooked more than I needed just because I liked it!

viewed MANY KNIVES as I didn't want to buy the whole set. Hammer steel is made in America. The blade satisfied me, but the handle doesn't bother me. While the handle is visually appealing, I find it narrow and after chopping with it for a long time it wants to turn in my hand and needs a lot of grip strength to do so. I have medium sized hands for a man and am not weak. A wide grip would be better for me.

The knife is nice and sharp! My only issue is the box it came in. It's a fine knife but I don't like the storage box. I couldn't figure out how to open it. It seemed like you had to press down on one end and the inner box would slide out of the shell/outer box). Obviously this is wrong as it loosened the glue and now I have a box that won't close (because I cut the sticker on the side thinking it was) so I don't know how I should keep the knife. . I love this knife so much that I bought the whole set. High quality steel. A beautiful and comfortable shaft with Pakka wood handles that are true works of art. Don't be so rude as to throw this beauty in the dishwasher. The tree will dry up and look sad.
