Entertaining Hanging Bed: Hamster Wooden Swing Toy for Gerbil Rat Mouse Dwarf Hamster Review

I just thought it would fit my chinchilla but it was too small I should have known because it is thick, although it's not really a problem, it broke, half the screw was stuck in the wood so I couldn't fix it or use it, didn't want to put it in a cage in case it gnaws through and eats the stuck screw.

Excellent swing! My hamster bear loves it! The only complaint is that the hanging chain isn't long so it might be too close to the top of the cage but I just added a couple of these little clips so I could make it as long as I needed and it worked perfectly. You can even add paperclips to adjust the length

My gerbils love them so much I've ordered a few for them to climb on. The hanging metal chains prevent them from chewing through and the base is thick enough that they will never chew through wood. I replaced the originals, but that's because they're untreated wood (good for gerbils' chewing habits, bad for absorbing urine odors).

Gave this to my hamster today and found I would like another hook at the top so it attaches to the top of the cage on either side rather than just one point in the middle. Installed at only one central point, it fluctuates too much in my opinion, a hamster. I'll leave it there for a day or so to see if she gets used to it. If not, I'll have to try and find another one of these hooks to see if I can make it a little more stable. I figured it would be a gentle swing, not a wild thrill. I wish I…
