My cat likes to use the sofa as a scratching post. I put it on the corner and haven't had any problems since. They don't even realize it's even better. I highly recommend this product to keep your furniture beautiful!

It's great. Much better than the tape I tried before. The pins make a small hole in your sofa/chair. So it's best to use it on textured furniture so you don't notice when you take them off. Good size and good price.

Works like a dream. The cat stopped immediately. It saved our new sofa! I followed the directions and used warm water to open. Then I tighten it against the crease so it doesn't come back. Went smoothly. Had to adjust the first pin at the end. But it was easy, and the needle left no mark on this fabric at all. You see the plastic, it doesn't go away entirely, but that doesn't bother me. In fact, I prefer it to scratched arms and sides.

UPDATE: Three weeks later, the cat hasn't scratched my faux leather sofa or armchair once. If I had bought them sooner, I could have saved a $1200 living room leather set. They absolutely work. I filled the cat claw holes on my faux leather sofas and chairs with a vinyl repair kit and when the product was dry I applied a scratch protectant. They were easy to attach with a corkscrew and the cat didn't go near the edges of the furniture for hours. So far, so good.

Due to the low price I used this product instead of my usual sticky plastic. You get a lot more product than sticky versions, but I'll caution you for aesthetic reasons. I think the material my sofa is upholstered with is perfect for this product, but if you have suede or leather, if you don't agree with the 6 small holes in your sofa, forget it. Where the caution lies is that the fasteners don't allow the plastic to adhere well to the sofa, which means the plastic doesn't press against it…
