Very good brush pens at a great price. I put a quick sketch I made in my notebook. Very smooth, just don't press too hard like you would with any brush. In the attached sketch I used an arbitrary pen width.

I was so pleased to receive the pens earlier than I thought. I've recently started working on card making and journaling and they are perfect. I have to say that at the price I paid I didn't expect such quality. I am very satisfied and am considering ordering another set to have it ready to hand.

Amazing Pens! I've never used black line art in my watercolor work, but recently I've been very inspired to try it. I can't wait to see what these beautiful and functional pens can do for my art. My water test if the pens were interesting. Calligraphy 201 was water resistant right out of the box, which was a bit disappointing, but I found adding water to the paper at first could produce lighter tones. That was a great price for many pens, especially since they are reusable (although I haven't tried it yet). I'm new to brush calligraphy and wanted a cheaper option for all practice and practice. Unfortunately I didn't like the brush tip (#201 - 3 pens per set), it seemed to wear out immediately and was harder to control. This may have been exacerbated by the lower quality paper I used. I really liked the other three pens: 202, 203 and 204. They were great for practicing, they had nice dark ink
