Decent quality but rubbish hardware and mounts.

This is a fake Cyrca Probend handguard. The handguards themselves are pretty sturdy, but the handlebar mounts and fasteners are Chinese metal junk. You'll have to ditch them immediately and buy Cyrca or Acerbis handguard mounts, which cost around $40. The included junk gear might fit a kid/girlfriend/play bike but won't stand up to abuse from a real adult rider on a full size bike. The rest is pretty decent.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Expensive

For 2019 KTM 790 Adventure R without modification

For 790 Adventure R (and probably non-R) without modification and very robust. I also recommend using an SRT threaded rod end fastener kit, which cuts and screws extremely strong anchors. I have used these handguards on three bikes and they have saved my hands from branches and prevented the levers from breaking when falling low on gravel. They also direct cold air away from your hands. Great product at a killer price.

Impressive price!

Looks like a Chinese fake Cycra probed, install was easy on a 3rd grade, no problems installing on my YZ250FX and the units appear to be of good quality, the screw on the end of the Stem seemed a little cheap. but it seems to have stretched normally, plastic covers look beautiful. The main difference I see from the higher end guards is that the aluminum frames are shot peened rather than anodized or plated and the bolt at the end of the bar does not appear to be hardened. Overall while I'm…

Tight, but not a cigar!

Bought for my boy's motorbike. They looked exactly like the more expensive branded models I had on the bike and were almost 1/4 the price. Thought what the heck, I'll try it out. In the end, it was mostly equipment and quality control issues. The brush guard and the metal part of the handguard were of decent quality, but everything else was junk. The compression locks that attach to the ends of the poles will not fit inside the pole. The hex came loose from the hex head fasteners with minimal…

Great handguards at a low price!

This is my first ever set of face shields so I can't speak for the branded products that emulate them but I have to say I'm delighted to have them on my KLX 250. Installation was painful but so it's not those handguards fault, my standard handlebars had a spacer bar welded to the ends of each side of the stem (thanks Kawasaki) which I had to drill and cut a hole to fit the guard on the Screwing the left side, the throttle, side came loose allowing me to insert the part into the steering wheel…

The time will show.

UPDATE - 1 MONTH AND A FEW RIDES LATER. Dropped the stars from these guards. One is already bent, one lost two screws holding the orange shield, so the shield ripped off. They break down easily all the time. I crash into a bike hard and bury the handlebars in the dirt while wearing the real Saira and the guards don't move. I bang my bike with these guards and they all go haywire. The bottom line is that I don't think I'll go down this path again. It's not worth saving money. ORIGINAL REVIEW…

Will not fit 1 1/8 " tapered handlebars!

I installed these handguards on my 2007 Honda XR650L. They are very similar to the Cycra Probed Alloy Guards. They are 10 x 20mm Made of aluminum and appear to be quite strong they also have enough room for the levers on my bike I didn't have to move the lever tabs inwards or cut the balls off the ends of the levers like many other handguards require you to do. Clamps on the end of the bar are cheaply made and not knurled but seem to grip the bars well. The expansion slots on the clamps appear…
