This is my first ever set of face shields so I can't speak for the branded products that emulate them but I have to say I'm delighted to have them on my KLX 250. Installation was painful but so it's not those handguards fault, my standard handlebars had a spacer bar welded to the ends of each side of the stem (thanks Kawasaki) which I had to drill and cut a hole to fit the guard on the Screwing the left side, the throttle, side came loose allowing me to insert the part into the steering wheel and install it as intended. I have to say these fenders look impressive, the plastic suits the T shaped bike and once installed they feel nice and solid. I've already noticed a fair amount of wind deflection off my toes which is a big plus for me as I like to ride on those clear mornings well into late fall. Can't comment on durability as I'm not a large SUV and spend most of my time commuting outside. Overall they are worth the money they are made for and look amazing on the bike. I have a feeling that if I never drop the bike they will last me a long time. soon. Anyway, for $30 I am very happy with my purchase.
