Although I had to squeeze a few times to release it, I've used it almost countless times since and it's been so easy! The metal is heavy and strong and the grips are amazingly soft, slightly soft silicone! Every cut, except for the very first one, was absolutely clean. I highly recommend this, especially if you make your own jewelry and need map earrings! I plan to get more from this company!

Disappointed. The product feels solid, the handles are comfortable, the core is small but it's good for what I need it for, but the main reason I bought it after many different searches for the best hole punch deal was that I was under the impression that it comes with all the shapes advertised for use as a replacement stamp. It only comes with the heart. I just want that information to be prominently displayed in the description.

Unlike all my lever punches, this one has an integral opaque metal drip tray with a stiff spring mechanism so there's no way to see through the hole in the punch to prevent it to position on the paper before punching. This gives you the choice of either punching the shapes further apart, which wastes material, or risking slightly overlapping the previous, adjacent punched area so that the new perforated shape looks like it's made out of one piece. This hole punch just doesn't work. It's like pushing the paper halfway in. It has a picker where the punched circles are supposed to gather, but it's covered with a solid piece of metal so even if it punches holes, they fall to the ground. Really bad quality. I sent it back immediately. Let's go back to using a small screwdriver to punch small holes.
