The product has a slightly smaller trunk (wood) diameter than I'm used to, but it should work fine. The swab is wrapped very tightly around the shaft and is suitable for the intended use in clean rooms. The medicinal applicators I usually use have a slightly larger head that wraps more freely and a thicker shaft. I haven't used them yet, but they should work fine for my application.
