Hands Craft Modern Puzzles Airplane Review

These jigsaw puzzles are fun but the quality of the wood is terrible. Pieces break easily. I've broken 3 pieces already and only 3 levels out of 7 so far. I'm very careful and have very strong hands. Even trying to snap a part can cause the part to break. It would be better if the parts were made of wood-like plastic.

It was a nice little kit, I could probably put it together in a day but I decided to paint it. Everything went well if you take your time. I rub some parts with a birthday candle so that the tabs fit better in the grooves. Most of the pieces come out of the sheet with no problems, but sometimes (1 of 6) a small piece will peel off the piece. Or occasionally when I collect it. Although I'm doing my best. And it's frustrating. But I'm done and happy.

Although it can be assembled, be prepared to glue many pieces along the way. I've collected countless similar items and this was the least durable thing I've ever played around with. To make this item inexpensive, they used not only the thinnest wood, but also the cheapest. It broke and splintered along the way. As a result, I received the finished product. All in all it was a fun little project. However, the details are very thin and weak. In some places the pieces just didn't seem to snap or connect so you have to put a little more effort into getting them to fit and that's usually the case when the wood breaks or splits. The creators obviously realized that this can happen because they give you spare parts for some of the more sensitive and flavorful areas. Got this with my 7 year old. It says 8 and up, so I figured she could do it if I helped her. No way. It's insanely difficult. The tiny pieces are so delicate. One of the small protrusions broke off trying to put them together. Some are too loose, some too small. She ended up pulling most of the pieces out of the mold and I had a hard time putting them back together. I would suggest using some school glue in places where the fit isn't very tight.
