I am retired and just need some basic shorts to wear. They are great and even have pockets. The only problem is that they are a bit long and need to be hemmed 1 1/2 inches. I'm a 5'5" female and they come down to my knees.

Probably keep looking. They don't fit as they said they weren't durable and they had ropes hanging off when we opened the package.

Bought 3 different colors for my teenage pajamas. My son is 5ft 6in and 94lbs SWIMS in XL. He could do an L with no problem, as could my little female child. My daughter who wears 10 women fits this size well. Cotton jersey is soft, roomy legs, two pockets in the seams. The green looks like a dark gray to me but I have a navy blue and a light gray so it's easy to separate them and the other colors seem real.

My son loves these pajama shorts. He said they were comfortable and that's all that matters to me. They haven't shrunk. His height is 30% and he plays touring football (which means he runs miles every week). they fit as i had hoped. If your child doesn't need to worry about a snug fit or clothing that's slimming, you may need to go up a size.

I bought two sets for my kids, a small one in light gray and a very small one in dark blue. The size is small as expected and fits my skinny 8 year old. The XS set is odd, one pair seems good but the other pair is much larger, even larger than the next size I got for my older child. You can see the difference in my photo.
