I use this for heat shrink tubing for electronic wiring. They added a second level of warmth to the new model and I think the lower level of warmth is similar to my previous model which looks identical to this one.

Great quality for the price. Offers two temperature options for most masking materials. It does its job well and should last for many years if not abused. This made shrinking the coating easy and quick.

This item is great for all kinds of small projects. Two different temperatures are good. It doesn't get as hot as other heat guns. I didn't need a heat gun which gets very hot. It's spot on and looks pretty neat with the chromed metal body.

I bought this to replace a very similar one I've been using for years and after countless falls to the floor it finally gave up. This one is very similar, except instead of having two settings (heat/no heat), it had low noise and high heat. It works very well and the price is very reasonable. If it lasts as long as the previous one, it will outlive me.
