I love this fruit basket! I dreamed of a rattan hanging basket with gold accents to match the gold handles in my kitchen. When it arrived I took off the chains and painted them gold. I also painted the wall hook gold. I had to remove 2 hooks from each tier to fit it over my bin but it looks great and feels very sturdy so far!

Love it! I hung it on a banana hook and it was very easy to remove the top basket and attach the hook. I got compliments from everyone who saw it! It also holds a decent amount of weight with no signs of deformation. I have in my hand a large handful of bananas, 2 pounds of clementines and 3 pounds of apples from my order at the grocery store yesterday.

I love how this basket system looks and how durable the baskets themselves are. However, the faulty chain system linking them is another story. The chain bends slightly. The links also come loose before you know it, the whole basket system falls apart and all your fruit gets crushed when it hits the floor. That thing costs $40. I need hemp rope or something similar to assemble the hanging baskets.

I downgraded a star because mine didn't have a banana hook. I had to order all the components to assemble it myself (chain, large S hooks, needle nose pliers) which cost about $30 because they couldn't replace any of the parts and I didn't want to go through the return process. .I also think this will work well in my limited space and will look great next to my ugly closets 😂. I make a lot of smoothies so I really need this.
