Good value for men

I thought it was good value for money so I bought one for myself and one for a friend who was interested in wet shaving. First impressions were that the brush in the box is very stiff compared to other badger hair brushes I've used over the past decade. When I first used it, I noticed three things: 1) there was no wet dog smell that I had experienced with a new brush in the past, 2) this brush didn't shed at all, 3) I had to use a lot more Pressure than previous brushes to create a good lather…

Pros
  • Many will do
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Good quality on shaving accessories

I replaced my old boar hair brush with this brush. I have the wooden handle version and it is very high quality. It was surprisingly hard at first, much stiffer than my previous boar hair, but it softened over time. It lathers well, holds the lather well, feels good on the skin. Until my hair falls out

Good brush for men

My husband uses a shaving brush every day. We buy them from Harrod's and John Lewis in London when we go. This one isn't as full as Harrod's expensive brushes, but so far he says it's working well. It was a bit fuller than the others. The price was very correct.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • New competitors

Good grip on shaving brushes

I bought this one because the previous brush worked well but the handle was too slippery and it slipped and cracked in the sink. I had high hopes for this and have used it about 18 times. Bottom line, the pen is good, the badger flowers very well. but the brush is hard and prickly. maybe I got a bad one. very scratchy although I gave it more time to soak so I downgraded my rating to one star.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Long wait

Nice simple wooden shaving brush

That's all I need. A simple wooden (not very polished) shaving brush. Not plastic. No plastic, looks like wood. The wood is not polished enough to look like faux wood. WOOD! That's great. The bristles hold up well and the wooden handle (did I mention wood?) is non-slip and doesn't absorb moisture. I keep her in my soul. Life is Beautiful.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Compatibility

I wasn't sure from the start.

When I first saw this brush I was impressed with the workmanship. My only concern was that the brush itself seemed too wide. But the width doesn't bother him at all. Very good brush with excellent workmanship.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Vulgarity

It lathers fairly well

The shaving brush is pretty decent for the price but I'm saying that because I'm comparing it to shaving brushes I've bought from Art of Shaving in the past. If you're new to shaving with a brush, cup and shaving soap, this shaving brush is an inexpensive entry-level brush. It's mild, but I always leave soap on it and leave it in a shaving mug after use. In my opinion this helps soften the bristles a bit for a thicker shaving cream.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Poorly designed

I like shaving brushes

I have never used these, so there is no context and contrast. I became addicted to shaving soap for legs and finally got to the brush - just using my hands - and it does everything it says on the tin. I've been using it for about a week and all the bristles are still there and the wood seems sealed well to hold up in the shower. I love it!

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • There are nuances
