I thought it was good value for money so I bought one for myself and one for a friend who was interested in wet shaving. First impressions were that the brush in the box is very stiff compared to other badger hair brushes I've used over the past decade. When I first used it, I noticed three things: 1) there was no wet dog smell that I had experienced with a new brush in the past, 2) this brush didn't shed at all, 3) I had to use a lot more Pressure than previous brushes to create a good lather for a good shave. I've been using the brush for over two months and it's gotten a little softer. I feel like I've gotten used to it and always get a good rich lather for a great shave. Overall, this is a great value if you're looking to get into wet shaving. Hope the hardness lasts longer.
