The only functional meter that actually works.

Instead of trying to make a super cheap multimeter that's doomed to perform poorly in three modes, this design focuses on pH and it really works! When dealing with alkaline [as opposed to acidic] soil, this tool is essential.

Dead on arrival at fabric analyzer

Read instructions, battery strips removed, soaked at 7:01 for several hours. Tried turning it on and nothing. I removed the battery, checked the voltage, everything is normal. Cleaned and reinstalled battery, still nothing. The second PH meter was from two different companies and both turned out to be junk.

It doesn't calibrate and they want you to spend $30 to calibrate it!

Failed to calibrate with the provided solution. They said to clean, rinse and then soak in a storage solution for an hour. Well, they don't give you a storage solution. You must buy it for $30. Terrible product, it's back. Stick to tried and tested pH tests.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some minor issues

Worth the money

I have bought several Hanna measuring devices. Of course, these aren't $200 stationary pH meters. disposable pipettes) do not have to be cleaned after each use? If you want to buy a really cheap gauge and then complain to your friends about it, get the Milwaukee Single Point Calibration Probe!

Pros
  • Only positive result
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Only worked for 8 months

I do not recommend this product. I only used it a couple of times and exactly 8 months later it stopped working. Obviously I need a new probe which is pretty much the same as all of this. The product shouldn't stop working after several uses. For a beginner this is quite confusing at first. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy to use, but of course since it's broken I can't use it. Save money and go somewhere else.

!WARNING! - Analyzers

So my Hannah probe arrived tonight and of course I opened it right away. The packaging was super minimalist, what's the difference, but it was minimalist in the sense that it was open and didn't contain 7 calibrants, just two quads. While using it he gave me a reading of 9.5. I got angry and used my knowledge of reefs to reduce my carbon dose, resulting in my tank being in a more acidic (lower dangerous pH) environment. I have Hanna trace elements and nitrate-phosphate colorimeters, but that's…

I don't like the product

After reading mixed reviews I took the plunge and decided to buy. I don't like the product. "This gauge needs to be recalibrated every time you use it." was in a review. Right. ALWAYS needs to be recalibrated. In fact, in many attempts I was unable to get the product to continue calibrating. "It can take up to 15-20 seconds for readings to stabilize." was in the same review. It's all up and down. So with calibration it would be correct. Given how I have to use the product multiple times a day…

  • One year trial
Cons
  • Only available in white

easy to use with pH meters

Incredibly easy to use! The pH meter is a lot less bulky than others I've used in the past and I appreciate the "long neck" design. It arrived already precisely calibrated, but I used the recalibration solutions that came with it, a simple process that only took a minute. As with any pH measurement, you need to wait a few seconds to get a stable reading. It's no different than any other measurement of pH, humidity, temperature, etc. The meter has a handy indicator when it reaches a stable…

Overpriced Very Poor Quality

This is junk like all the other cheap markers I've found. Sure he checks the pH (if you believe it, but why would you?) but buy the solutions you want - and he thinks you need 4, one to clean, one to store, one for 4.0 and one for 7.0 calibration. - and batteries - which you'll need if you're thinking of turning them off, apparently the auto-off feature that most of these things have is too expensive for Hanna to turn on at that price - and you've got $80 including of the price issued counter…

  • Absolutely Amazing!

  • Not bad, but...
