    I like this product

I like this product! This is my first time using hansgrohe and I will not use anything else. I have a rain shower and attached hand held shower head with PEX and bought an S&E thermostatic overlay with volume control with a switch to use both at the same time (one of the VERY few manufacturers that can). I can't wait to use it. Make sure that the two shut-off valves are closed (slotted screwdriver notch points up/down). I hooked up 3/4 PEX for hot and cold water directly to it because I wanted…

Could be better used in bath and shower bypass valves

This is comfortable and pairs well with matching trim. The installation is not very difficult, the only problem is that the inlets are on the side. It's likely that the problem isn't with new construction but with renovation, making it difficult to run a line from both the top and bottom exits in the 2x6 wall. In my setup, the consumables come from the bottom and I use both outputs. The tube from the lower outlet crosses the hot inlet tube. Probably almost impossible in a 2x4 wall unless you…

Heavy and huge - good quality.

WOW I thought it was small and light. It's not, it's very heavy and huge. Worth the money compared to some cheap service boxes that seem cheap. I used 3/4" inlet lines and 1/2" outlet lines with an adapter to get the maximum water pressure (also nice, many boxes only offer 1/2" service). smooth action, solid, easy to adjust micro raise and overall great quality. Please note that the outermost flange (on the front) is very deep so your installer will likely have to shave some of it off like we…

A piece was missing from the box - Hansgrohe customer service was unhelpful.

I purchased this item through Revain last month (November 2018). After the plumber installed the iBox, he showed me that one of the parts shown in the installation guide was not included. The missing piece was a gasket to be placed between the cement board wall and the shower tile. When I called Hansgrohe customer service and gave them the missing part number, the service representative told me that they could not find an entry for this seal in their parts database. When I replied that I looked

Amazing system, works like a retrofit

This was an old bathtub retrofit. I was concerned that I would have to redo much of the copper wiring. I was also concerned that there would not be enough room in my wall since my house doesn't have 2x4 studs but uses 2x3. My tub tubing is 1/2" in diameter, so I used 1/2" copper fittings and 3/4" MPT fittings. Although the manual recommended sockets, I felt this was the best solution. An even better solution would be to use the simple replacement seats but couldn't find them at the local…
