No, I've sat in it 3 times now, my weight is about 170 and the thing is already broken. So if you have 100 pounds, you might be fine. Sits low to the ground, not bad but hard to get out of. The assembly took 4 hours. I had to redrill a few holes because they didn't line up. Very cheap materials. Dissatisfied.

A beautiful comfortable chair. Needs assembly, but fairly easy. The footrest rises when raised and lowers when raised further. But that's difficult when you're sitting in a chair, so I felt trapped at first, but then I learned to move my legs to the side to pull myself up. Not real leather, but artificial leather that is pleasant to the touch - dark chocolate brown (not pure black). Great price for a nice chair.
