🎤 Hape Mighty Echo Microphone: Battery-Free Voice Amplifier Toy for Kids 1 Year & Up, Red - Model E0337, L: 3.1, W: 3.1, H: 8.6 inch Review

It took a long time to find a basic microphone that didn't have all the bells and whistles. It's a very faint echo, but my toddler could still hear himself. It's so perfect for me! If you're looking for a simple toy that's loud enough, this is it!

The workmanship is solid but the gain is very weak. I bought this for my grandson because he loved singing to the one I bought at the dollar store. He chose this one because of its durability, but his interest is not piqued as he can't hear his own voice.

I bought it in October and saved it for Christmas. Unfortunately, when it opened on Christmas morning, the microphone was not working. Inside there was a knock, there was no echo. Unfortunately the return window was missed so all I had to do was eat up the cost and order a new one. The new one works fine, but overall I spent about $25 for a working mic.

Bought this because I love Hape and don't want to buy another plastic toy. The photo clearly shows the texture of the wood on the red part of the body, and it looks like only the blue upper part is plastic. nope! The red part is made of plastic, only the "button" and the cap on the bottom are made of wood. The Echo isn't as good as the Magic Mic and I paid 4x (unless you can find them at the dollar store where I paid 20x). I was really looking forward to it and now I'm just disappointed…

My 2 year old son loves this mic. I will say that the only part of this product that is made of wood is the bottom base part and the part where the "button" is located. The red and blue parts, as well as the "button" itself, are made of plastic. I don't mind that it's mostly plastic, I feel like if it were wood it would be quite heavy. As others have noted in their reviews, the echoes from this mic are very quiet. I've found that only the person holding it can hear the echo in the mic (unless you yell very loudly). This made it a bit difficult to show my 1 year old daughter how it works as my echo wasn't very clear when she wasn't holding the mic. Aside from the faint echoes, colors are vibrant and the mic itself is solid. but it's a bit on the heavy side. She had more fun throwing it on the floor than speaking into it…

The mic we received didn't seem to do anything. The microphone was probably damaged in shipping. Note: I ONLY did the following because it did NOTHING.
