The studs appear to be brass but the screw part sticks to the magnet and appears to be brass plated steel. This is a problem as the description says they are solid brass which is why I thought I ordered. And if the brass surface gets scratched, the steel will rust, so I went with brass.

Well these are great if they work, I'll put them aside later when sewing bags. Well I only had 19 in a pack. Okay I need 6 for each purse. Well, one of the brass buttons doesn't screw on, so I only have what I need for three purses. Came back to check if the remaining 6ft would still work. It's good that I made one of the 19 legs I had in a different size than the one that was stripped. Very disappointed as these bags I make are expensive and now I have to order again but not from this company.

I ordered 20 7mm screws. I have Prime so I received it immediately after 2 days. All 20 screw posts and toppers were in a small zippered container. When I first started using them in my project I found that 3 of the toppers are unthreaded so it is not possible to tighten the screw posts inside.
