I used these bolts to hold together a table I built out of scrap wood. The 4x4 legs needed an extended bolt to keep them upright. Works great for its intended purpose. The table is still there. It was very difficult to add a nut to some of them. It's like the thread got lost for some reason. But enough torque let it move and be safe.

I can't express enough how beautiful it was. My table now has a shear strength that will enable it to withstand the beating my short tempered little ones will soon deal with.
