Better than a nut and bolt

I use a nut and bolt to install to compress with mixed results. This installer makes a huge difference and I've had nothing but success so far. I would buy again. 5 STARS

HARDELL Rivet Tool 12 "

Great tool, I used this on my 20 year old car restoration project. At the same time rivets were used to restore the front of the bumper. This tool was all I needed to start working with Ease of doing things I am happy with it and would recommend it.

Pros
  • Complete Set
Cons
  • confusing

Great riveting tool, cheap and easy to use.

When you're on a tight budget, this is what you need. Admission is cheap, and you get a decent tool for that. You probably won't be able to make hundreds of rivets every day, this is not a professional quality tool but it will do for most DIY jobs. It's easy with him, I could do it without any tools, just with my bare hands. It comes with a wide range of adapters and matching rivets to get you started straight away.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Only available in black

The supplied stop pin in the dismantling spindle needs to be revised

I had 2 problems. With the M5, when tested, either the thread crossed slightly or it snapped off the stainless steel I had. The included yellow prongs worked well. This problem became even more serious when I tried to remove the nut. The knurled grip on the trigger kept slipping. A very small Allen screw is used for fixation. After searching a bit I found that 5/64 was best and only one of them suited me. 2mm slipped and not tightened well. Even as hard as I could get it, I had some slippage…

Pros
  • GOLS certification
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
