We were pleasantly surprised by this lamp. The light color is accurate compared to the photo on Revain, but I was nervous because the box itself shows tan metal. The only guide you get is a piece of paper with diagrams of different tools (depending on which one you bought). The picture was so blurry and there was no mark. Installation steps not included. This is rejected due to the installation. This light was not easy to install. The instructions were missing and the ones that were were a little confusing (no mention was made of laying the dome on the ground, although that part was easy). There are also plenty of washers and nuts left with no instructions on how to include them in the build. I'm very glad I bought these lights. I was concerned after reading some other reviews but overall no major issues. The finish is very nice and suits my appearance. I bought a pair for the entryway and hallway, and after installing one, the second became easier. For the most part this is a pretty good light. I think what I like best is the fact that the bulb is covered in glass and the light is directed upwards so I'm not blinded by the kitchen sink, but there's still plenty of light.
