Beautiful, durable lamp

We were pleasantly surprised by this lamp. The light color is accurate compared to the photo on Revain, but I was nervous because the box itself shows tan metal. It looks very nice when installed and seems high quality. It has three standard sized sockets and is quite bright. I agree with another reviewer's comment that the instructions were terrible, but we were able to figure out how to put them together fairly easily. Unlike the previous reviewer, I didn't have to cut or assemble any parts…

Worst guide

The only guide you get is a piece of paper with diagrams of different tools (depending on which one you bought). The picture was so blurry and there was no mark. Installation steps not included. The metal back plate attached to the wall has many holes and yet I could not match any with my electrical box. The worst part is figuring out how to screw the lantern to the metal plate. As there were no instructions included in the kit I had to play around with different ways and decided to put the…

Assembly/installation problems

This is rejected due to the installation. This light was not easy to install. The instructions were missing and the ones that were were a little confusing (no mention was made of laying the dome on the ground, although that part was easy). There are also plenty of washers and nuts left with no instructions on how to include them in the build. After installation it was crooked and I had to take it apart again and found that the parts already assembled were made crooked and the metal part of the…

Chandelier Tuscany: Wall Lights

A very nice light, especially considering the price. It looks great in our small dining room, the light is very bright using three 13w fluorescent bulbs. The instructions were terrible. I'm an automotive technician with 45 years experience so I saw my share and then some POS instructions which you know translated from Chinese to Korean to English by an Italian. Much has been lost in translation. They were particularly bad, missing a lot of information, I ended up throwing them away and finding…

Not the easiest setup, but worth it!

I'm very glad I bought these lights. I was concerned after reading some other reviews but overall no major issues. The finish is very nice and suits my appearance. I bought a pair for the entryway and hallway, and after installing one, the second became easier. The instructions are mostly text as the diagrams are not product specific (and none of them apply to this specific product). I also had an issue with a few screws that were too long causing the entire fixture to hang with a gap between…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Not bad at all: Wall Lights

For the most part this is a pretty good light. I think what I like best is the fact that the bulb is covered in glass and the light is directed upwards so I'm not blinded by the kitchen sink, but there's still plenty of light. However, putting in a lightbulb is tricky (if you're using LED bulbs, you only have to deal with this problem once every ten years, although it's no big deal, is it?! lol). That being said, there are a few things worth mentioning. Firstly the listing doesn't say if the…
