According to my experience, this product doesnt even work. While it claims to retrofit CarPlay wiring, the adapter just couldn't keep up .The only pro WAS the ease of installation but that's useless if it doesn't work. The cons include its inability to connect easily with my device intermittent connection failures, and the overall disappointment of spending money on such a useless accessory..

So many videos recommended this product for Apple Car Play. I'm here to say it doesn't work. I upgraded Sync to version 3, rewired, got the right adapter and Apple CarPlay doesn't support it. How do reviewers here and on Youtube insist on this 2015 remedy? Is that different with 5.0? I do not know. But it doesn't work on mine. Provide accurate information about your Mustangs and other car models so customers who read reviews can buy the right thing or save time and money.
