Disappointing is best in boots

Good velcro and higher than many other flight boots so thought they would be great. After a few days, the plastic strip that served as a stiffening element began to break and eventually failed in many places on all boots. The resulting plastic edges are sheathed in nylon webbing, but are still fairly sharp, rendering the boots virtually unusable. Too bad I didn't buy these.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not the best

Terrible quality, best on horses

I'm a big fan of shoofly leggings. But my sister insisted her horse have green spats, so I ordered these for her. They are not easy to put on. After the second use they showed major scuffs and the supports on the back of the boots were bent at an odd angle. Always slips down to the horse's putty/ankle, even after fitting and tightening 2-3 times a day. I do not recommend!

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Does not fit all

Good product. Very well done. Soft. My horse loves her. Amazing price.

This is an amazing product. They look small, but they aren't. Excellent tape covers large wide strips. My horse seems to like them very much. You have to put them on the snow to keep them in place. But it's so soft in it that my horse doesn't mind at all. I will find another pair. I would highly recommend them to anyone for use in the equine family. Smiley LOL Great price, very well done. You save my hoarse sorrow from flies. Definitely worth buying.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some small things

Nice Velcro but that's it

I bought 2 sets both medium sized my two horses are a bit taller and I thought it would make them tighter and not dangling. These wraps work on a large size. But velcro is super good. it didn't prevent her from sliding down or moving from side to side or around the legs. These photos are after a week of use. My horses are in the pasture during the day and in the stable at night without flycatchers. it is therefore to be used only during the day for a week. They appear to be of good quality but…

You get what you pay for.

Return the goods as soon as possible. At first they seemed to fit my mare just right. The length was good. Seems snug fitting with velcro closure. However, when she wore them after a day, they slipped considerably while she was grazing in the pasture. This created a tripping hazard as all four slipped so far that they were under their hooves. No matter how many adjustments I made, they didn't stay in place for long. From now on I buy the well-known Shoofly leggings! Photo in the review right…

Seldom worn, runs LARGE

They don't last. They are oversized and the fabric stretches. They turn on the foot no matter how good you are with velcro. The reinforced back is pre-bent and not bent at the same leg angle (carpus) as my hairpin, so it's difficult to get it in the right position. Positive: the fabric is very soft, does not hold sticks or hay, is breathable, well made (no protruding threads, slipped areas, etc.), very good Velcro fastener. My advice, don't assume that if your horse needs to be carried all the…
