These are much higher quality than the ones you buy at Walmart. I don't think they will shrink nearly as much. However, my daughter could only make two potholders.

For TWO potholders. What a waste of money. I've been looking all over the place for American made bows to keep my kids entertained on a car ride and looking for some good off screen activities. I spent $10 to make 2 potholders. So that's $10 for 1 hour of fun.

I am a huge fan of Harrisville Designs and have ordered hundreds of dollars worth of accessories from them. HOWEVER, in a loop sequence for TWO SHIFFS were not enough for three loops. I called them and they fixed the problem immediately. Extra loops are always put in pockets, but if there's a problem, they'll solve it.

I love the old fashioned buttonholes, not as stretchy so potholders are the right size, while new ones are stretchy and basting seams are the size of coasters, but you have to buy more than a bag , to make the design you want, because the bag has all possible colors, but one color is not enough to use one color in one direction and another color in the other. Easier to use for kids because not so elastic dose, it doesn't need so much force to pull to the other side and for the baby to make it…

I like the idea of cotton - VG but I get an "I believe" reaction to the dye in cotton. Every time I pick it up my sinuses fill with blood (throbbing) and I sneeze. It's something in the color of this object. I still work with it because I love the loom, the colors etc. I want you to know that I have the opportunity to write to you here. I've already made sixteen of these pot holders. I'm saving them for presents next year. I also think when I get the next batch of these loops I may wash and dry

I've tried other cotton loops (and some nylon loops) and these are the best. These loops have a rich color, strong weave and the necessary elasticity. My 6 year old son loves making potholders and it's BETTER for his pinky fingers. Loops make a project hard enough to make difficult, but easy enough that it's not too frustrating to try.
