🧙 Immerse Yourself in Magic with the Harry Potter Hogwarts School Backpack Review

I had high hopes for this backpack as an officially licensed product but it has been exactly 6 weeks and it seems to be falling apart. The kid using it is a 10 year old girl at school so I'm sure an adult using it can actually do some harm. Very disappointing.

I bought this specifically for my trip to the convention as hand luggage. An hour after driving to the airport, my bag came undone at the seams next to the handle after I picked it up by the handle. Maybe everything will be fine if you leave the pen alone. But this is definitely a bad seam or bad quality.

LOVE this backpack! I have used it several times when I have travelled. Fits my laptop and iPad, lots of storage pockets. Be careful, I've noticed it's starting to unravel a little from the shoulder strap to the bag. I'm part of the problem. I stuff a lot of stuff in it and it's heavy. That being said, I highly recommend it for both magic and muggles!

Update: After 9 weeks of school this backpack fell apart for my sophomore year. The top strap has come loose and there is a worn spot at the bottom of the backpack that has now turned into a hole. I can't imagine this backpack would stand up to an older student with lots of heavy books. First Rating: Very good quality, I hope it lasts as it looks.

Daughter, 12, likes the look. Just the right size. Ideal for school. However, she carries many books and things to school. A lot of. Daily. I'm sure this goes well beyond what the manufacturer intended or what a normal, healthy baby should do. And she usually wears it on one shoulder like I used to wear. Well, as expected, the right strap began to bend at the top. After about 5 months the threads slowly but surely began to tear. But she still loves it so I had to take the sewing machine apart…

My 9 year old daughter has had a PBKids backpack since 4th grade (it still looks almost new) so this year we got her a new 4th grade backpack. promised class. She was desperate for a Harry Potter themed backpack but wasn't interested in any of the PBs. We took a chance despite the mixed reviews and she LOVES it. It definitely doesn't feel as sturdy as her previous pack, but so far it's holding up well. She doesn't carry many things in her bag, so I'm not sure how well she handles heavy books…
