📸 Pack of 2 Harwerrel 50mm Quick Release Plates - Compatible with Arca-Swiss Standard for Camera Tripod Ballhead Review

After paying a lot of money for a similar product at a camera store I found this pair of mounting plates. They work just as well as the expensive ones I bought at the camera store and are a third of the price.

I use them on a Canon M50 and they fit perfectly. This allows me to mount the Arca Swiss mount on the camera and still open the battery cover to change the battery or SD card.

The plates fit but the bottom "non-slip" metal tip on the bottom scratches the tripod head badly. I don't know if it was designed that way, but there's no way to customize it. Also, it keeps my a6000 powered on safely.

Great deal for a solid set of quick release plates. They fit the standard Arca-Swiss jaw and the hardware appears to be stainless steel. The finish isn't as polished as some high-end models, but I don't think that makes any difference when it comes to functionality. For the price it's hard to find a better one.

You can spend more than double on ONE of these mounting plates at the online camera store, or you can get two of them for a great price here. As you'd expect, they fit the Arca-Swiss mount, and the flat surface mount makes them compatible with most, if not all, DSLR camera bodies. The quality of the material seems to be a bit lower than that of the more expensive mounts, but that doesn't bother us. I'm glad I found these mounts. Great price, great quality, does the job. I bought the BONFOTO B690A lightweight aluminum tripod and based on a question from someone it was recommended as a spare/replacement quick release plate. They fit on a tripod and are metal (another plus) but the plate overhang above the mount is not as wide as the original that came with the tripod. It will work and doesn't foresee the problem, which I just wanted to mention for the information of other buyers. The price is better and you get two than the Bonfoto recommended one.

I was afraid it wouldn't fit my Geekoto tripod but it fit perfectly. One problem is that it comes off easier than the originals. The retractable grip for screwing the quick release to the camera is not as finger-friendly as the original, so less comfortable to put on. I'm not sure if this is due to the screw grip or the surface that comes into contact with the camera (where it slides), which can cause it to come loose. ***Updated review below*** Fine. However, I have the same problem as the other reviewer. The set screws on the underside of the plate that help hold it in place protrude too far, making it difficult for me to mount the plate onto the tripod head. I tried tightening the screw a little more, but it didn't help. I ended up having to remove a set screw to mount it on the tripod, but that means the plate isn't fully secured. I bought 2 cheap Arca Swiss clamps (with plates) to convert 2 cheap tripods, one from GPX, the other from an older Targus , and each have similar looking quick release plates, but they may not be compatible with each other. After some research Arca Swiss was chosen as they are a bit more versatile for most brands, even the cheaper ones. They were in a Revain bag. in a plastic case and were well made, the size I needed (50mm) and one when mounting on the GoPro and in the Utebit clamp fitted well
